A to Z Challenge Reflection

A-to-Z Reflection [2014] (1)I do not remember what I was looking for (something blog related I’m sure) when I hit the search button on Goggle and there it was, the link for the Blogging from A to Z Challenge website. It was the first website in a long list of search results. Was it fate? I think so….

I am a new blogger who had just started a blog on January 1, 2014. I had never heard of a blog hop or a linky list before and I was quite intrigued. After reading all the information on the Blogging A to Z Challenge I decided to participate as it sounded not only challenging, but fun.

I decided my blog theme would be emotions. Some of the letters were a real challenge! And well, some posts fell a little short of being an actual emotion.

I am proud to say that I blogged every single day of the challenge without missing a day or having any blogs written ahead of time. With the medical problems that I deal with on a daily basis just being able to be on the computer long enough to write and post a blog every day was a challenge in itself!

My main focus was on making sure that I posted each day. After that I was busy visiting, commenting, following, whatever I could do for fellow A to Z Bloggers. My medical conditions, however, did cause me to fall way behind in this part of the challenge. I am still working on catching up though….and then I am hoping to hit the list again (as long as it’s still there) and this time I will be able to spend more time liking Facebook pages and following on Twitter. So you will be seeing me around : )

This blog challenge also allowed me to not only connect with other bloggers but to read blogs from very talented and creative individuals. I read many blogs that made me laugh, made me sad, made me think, and taught me things…

The A to Z team and participating bloggers who I had the opportunity to interact with during this challenge were all very nice and super supportive. I obtained many followers, many likes, and many comments, of which I am extremely grateful.

A HUGE thank you to all those who took the time to visit, comment, follow, like or tweet a blog post of mine, liked my Facebook page, ect….It was all very much appreciated!

Being this was my first year I do have a question. There were times when I came upon a website that no longer existed or my virus protection detected a threat. Should we be informing someone of this, and if so who?

The Blogging from A to Z Challenge was an awesome experience! You’ll definitely be seeing me again next year!

  1. Congratulations for making it through and for blogging every day. The Challenge is a great way to test your blogging stamina. You can phantom links and websites to any of the Challenge co-hosts or their assistants or the email address for the A to Z Challenge on the A to Z blog site.

  2. The hosts of the A to Z challenge try to police the list. But with 2000+ participants, well it gets overwhelming. Yes, please do report to the hosts over on the A to Z website with the links you are finding as bad or non-existent or not participating. Thanks for sharing your A to Z with us and congrats on finishing the challenge unscathed! 😀

  3. It’s great to be finished with the A to Z, isn’t it? This was my third A to Z, but I remember my first very well, and you described it very well. Sorta serendipity connecting with A to Z in the first place, then wondering if I should do it, then plunging in, and lo and behold, finishing it. Congratulations to you for sticking with it.

  4. Congratulations on making it all the way through this challenge. It sounds like you were super successful in every way.

As to the virus problem or non-existing websites… I have no idea who you’d contact about that.
