Z is for Zeal
When you have feelings of energy toward something that would bring about a rewarding experience you are dealing with emotional zeal. Many people have a zealous feeling for God, sports, a particular goal, or a cause that is important to them. There are quite a few things that I have a passion for. Since my corneal transplant I have been an advocate for organ and tissue donation. I have written several articles that pertain to this meaningful cause. I also have an eagerness for finding those who share the exact same birthday as I do (month, day, year). It has become a hobby of mine and over the years I have found hundreds of my “birthday twins.” Zeal can also bring about negative energy also such as when a child throws a temper tantrum because they want something. Zeal is also an English girl name and it means passion.

For the longest time, I was unsure about how to become an organ donor–then I finally found where I could just check it on my driver’s license! This last time, they put a heart on my driver’s license to indicate I’m an organ donor, so hopefully that will carry over to every future renewal.

I had no idea that Zeal was sometimes used as a name. Love it though.
In this day and age isn’t just about any word a name…lol
I rarely think of Zeal as a negative behavior. When it’s defined as devotion, I can see how toddler would have zeal for what THEY want.
In stores I’ve often seen very passionate toddlers wanting something…lol
