Jilted

“To find oneself jilted is a blow to one’s pride. One must do one’s best to forget it and if one doesn’t succeed, at least one must pretend to.” – Moliere

J is for Jilted

Imagine it being only two days away from your wedding and you receive the most upsetting phone call. It seems your finance’ does not love you anymore and is calling to say the wedding is off. Without any warning the love of your life is gone! Your spirit has been crushed and the hurt is deep. You are experiencing the emotional pain of being jilted. Being jilted doesn’t only happen to those about to be married. Many people have been in a relationship in which they felt would never end because it was perfect, only to have it abruptly ended by the one person they thought they would be with forever. The jilted are left with many questions such as “How did this happen” or “I thought I knew him/her so well.”

I believe that things happen for a reason. When a person finds themselves the victim of a jilted relationship chances are there may be someone much better waiting in the wings.
