Founded in 2007, Running Start, is a non-profit organization that inspires and offers training to young women so they can become political leaders.
Running Start was created due to the fact that only a small amount of women held careers in politics or elected office. They believe there should be equal representation in government.
This non-profit organization offers programs that introduce and teach the idea to young women that political leadership can be a reachable goal to pursue.
