Ever since I began participating in the A-to-Z Challenge (this will be my third year) it seems the years have gone by much more quickly. At my age, years going by at an even faster rate is not something you look forward to! So, after much thought I have decided to no longer partake in this challenge.
OH WHO AM I KIDDING!
What’s a little premature wrinkling? It’s the Blogging From A-to-Z Challenge, for crying out loud!
“What is the Blogging from A-to-Z Challenge?” some people who have been living under a rock might ask. Well….just the BEST blogging challenge there is!
For the month of April participants will blog every day, except Sunday. Topics for each day have to begin with the letter of that day. So April 1st would be a topic that begins with A, April 2nd would be a B topic, and so on…..
Today, however, is the day that some participants reveal what their theme will be (you don’t have to have a theme, if you don’t want to).
So drum roll please……
Although I had a few new ideas I have decided to go with the theme that I had last year, which was non-profit organizations. I really like the idea of helping to spread awareness of these valuable resources.
Well I am off to check out themes of other A-to-Zers….
Looking forward to reading about non profit organizations. Good theme. Blessings! (smile)
Thank you Ann. Blessings to you as well.

Wonderful theme – I look forward to reading your posts!
Thanks Deborah. I just signed up to follow your blog! April 1st is fast approaching, are you ready?
Good luck with the challenge. I’m not doing it this year so will hopefully have more time to visit others.
I’ll miss you participating in the challenge this year : ( I have so much going on I am not sure if I will be able to do it, but I’m going to be giving it my best shot! Thanks for all your support!
It’ll be interesting to learn about the various non-profit organisations in your part of the world and whether or not something similar exist in my country 😀 Good luck!
I think countries deal with the same needs, maybe some more than others. Good luck to you as well!
A very worthy theme – I wish you all the best for the AtoZ.

Thank you Tasha. I enjoyed posting about non-profits last year so figured I’d do it again. I love your theme and have signed up to follow your blog. Can’t wait to read what you will be posting. Good luck!
What a good, altruistic theme! I would suggest to saturate it with constant plugs and reminders on all of your social media, and encourage all of your followers and visitors to do the same.

I love the variety of themes I’ve seen revealed this last week, this sounds so original. I’ll be stopping back during April to see what exists in your part of the world 🙂
There are some great themes this year! I will also be checking out your blog posts during April. Good luck with the challenge!
Oh, you had me worried for a second. Glad you’re going to be there in April. Theme sounds fantastic.
Thanks Silvia. Looking forward to reading your posts!
I will enjoy learning from your theme this year. The #Challenge is a great opportunity to make new blogging friends and learn. See you in April.
Hi Stepheny. I tried to subscribe to your blog but it wouldn’t let me. Kept getting a message to submit a valid email address, which I was. Maybe it’s a glitch in the system, so I will try again later. See you in April as well and good luck!
I can’t wait to read all the A to Z challenges! This is my first year and I am super-psyched!
Welcome to the A-to-Z Blogging Challenge! I am looking forward to reading what you post. Good luck!

Hello Chery – your theme sounds interesting. Look forward to reading and interacting. All the best!
Hi Dahlia. Only a few more days and the challenge will start. Are you ready? Looking forward to reading and interacting as well. Good luck!
Oops sorry for the typo Cheryl 🙂
We all make typo’s so you are forgiven : )
Thanks Cheryl 🙂
You are welcome
That’s amazing that you did the same theme last year and yet there are still at least another 26 new organizations to alphabetically highlight! awesome!
Last year it was tough finding organizations with the letters X and Z. Thought I wasn’t going to finish! I’m all set for this year though : ) There are organizations that many people don’t even know exist. Last year I was surprised by some of the ones I found.
Great theme, Cheryl! I’m looking forward to wisening up about great causes and initiatives!

Glad to see you decided to participate! I remember I found this challenge by accident while googling. I wasn’t sure if I should join but I am glad that I did! And here I am three years later! Have you decided on a theme yet? Good luck!
That’s a laudable initiative, hope you get to raise awareness and reach the people you want to reach. here from the A-Z and wish you the very best for the challenge.

I did the same theme last year and actually had people from some of the organizations get in touch with me to thank me for spreading awareness. Best wishes to you as well!
This is such a good idea, Cheryl! I love that you’re using the challenge to inform others of the many great people and organizations doing great work–so many unsung heroes! Good luck with the challenge!
Thank you! I really enjoyed finding the non-profits last year as many I had never heard of! As I mentioned in another comment, I thought it was nice that some organizations actually got in touch with me to thank me for spreading awareness of their non-profit. Good luck to you as well!
Not sure if this fits within your plan, but it might be useful to include a post about what to consider when a person wants to donate to or volunteer for an organization. Some organizations are much more reputable than others. Good luck!
Thank you for the suggestions : ) Last year I included links for ways to donate/volunteer in the posts and I’ll probably be doing the same this time. I also added last year their BBB rating. I’ll be doing somewhat of the same thing this year. Good luck to you as well!
Such good ideas. I look forward to learning from your posts.
Thanks Amy. Looking forward to reading your posts as well.
What a worthy and inspirational theme. I look forward to your posts. Best of luck with the challenge.

Thank you! Best of luck to you as well!!
Thanks for the blog luv 😊
Luv the theme. I’ve been trying to find a charity to do some volunteer work. I have a suspicion that I may find one in your posts. Looking forward to your posts.
Over the years I have really enjoyed volunteering. I think it’s the reason the theme for non-profits came to mind. I hope I can help you out with a charity you will consider doing some volunteer work for. I love your theme and can’t wait to learn something myself!
What a great theme for your readers to be able to learn something new. I liked how you added that audio clip for drum roll. Very cool 🙂 I will see you around!
Thank you! Good luck with the challenge. I will see you around as well : )
