https://www.onesimplewish.org/

Founded in 2008, One Simple Wish, is a non-profit organization that grants wishes through donors to children, mostly living in foster homes.

Founder and Executive Director of One Simple Wish, Danielle Gletow, decided to start this non-profit after she and her husband fostered an eighteen month of boy, who showed up in a coat two sizes to big. Over the next two years the Gletows began to learn a lot about the foster care system. They wanted to make the public aware that many of these children were going without resources that they needed and deserved.

According to their website, there are over 400,000 children who live in the foster care system each year.

One Simple Wish is just that….a ticket to the movies or a video game that can often make the life of a foster child a little brighter.

You can browse through this website and see the hundreds of wishes that are posted.

100% of donations go to One Simple Wish.

Danielle Gletow has appeared on many television and radio shows. She is a blogger for the Huffington Post.

    • Thank you for taking the time to stop by to read and post. I’m so behind with answering my comments, and reading and commenting on other blogs! But I’m still hanging in there! Take care Parul!

    • I have always wanted to be a foster parent myself, just never did it. I love kids. I was a day care teacher for many years and even ran my own daycare at one time.
