When I worked at CompUSA, I had the managers call me into the office one day. I thought I might have done something wrong. Instead they handed me a bonus check and said thank you.
They went on to say that they all had been watching me on the video camera for months. They told me that they had never seen a cashier who could take a customer who was either visibly having a hard day or was irritated because they were waiting too long in line, and have them laughing and smiling by the time they left my cash register.
I do believe that an act of kindness, a word of encouragement or a funny little remark can often change the attitude of people. It’s a domino effect. You brighten up the day for someone and they will carry that to another person.
Lifting people up, that is how I am changing the world!
That’s awesome! That you have such a gift and that other people recognize it.
Thank you. Thing is, I never realized I did that until it was pointed out to me. Congratulations on finishing the challenge. It was a bit rough for me, but I managed to get all the prompts done before the 31st.
I got mine done, too!
Love this ❣️
How positively wonderful and so true. Every kind act, smile or just chatting up an older person who looks sad has a reward that is multiplied. That is a wonderful thing to get recognized for and something you were doing to make the world a little better. Blessings and love. ❤️🤗🦋Joni
