Blogging From A-to-Z Challenge Reflections Post 2017 #AtoZChallenge

survivor-atoz [2017] v1As part of the A-to-Z Blogging Challenge, participants are asked to write a reflections post.

Looking back at the Blogging from A-to-Z Challenge 2017 the first thing that comes to mind is the gratitude of those who allowed me to share with my readers, a little about themselves and their Facebook groups. These people are genuinely passionate about the cause they stand for and I hope they realize that no matter if it’s a group for a rare disease or a pet pig; they all have made a difference in the lives of their members. Getting to know them via their interviews and emails, I know they made a difference in mine!

This world is a better place with people such as Deborah, Felicia, Ashley, Erica, Ray, Jenean, Tim, Katt, Tracey, Monica, Leah, Ann, Kay, Kim, Amy, Zena, Aimee, Lisa, Kay, Brad, Laura, JD, Kathy, Chauntel, Penny and Bernie in it. Thank you for all that you do! (Click on the names to visit their Facebook group)

I also want to thank those who followed, visited, commented, liked and shared my challenge posts. This theme (Facebook Support Groups) was important to me as I know how beneficial they can be. So your support was very much appreciated.

I have to admit that the lack of the Linky list this year had me a bit worried.

My stats for last year (2016) were
Views – 3,064
Visitors – 1,201
Likes – 1,039
Comments – 313

My stats for this year (2017) were
Views – 4,684
Visitors – 1,733
Likes – 2,129
Comments – 395

As you can see, my stats were much better this year without the use of the Linky list.

CONGRATULATIONS to all those who made it through!

See you next year!

  1. I completed the last three A -Z Challenges, but I had too much on my plate this year and no inspiration. I did make some great friends in years past due to the Challenges. Congratulations on doing so well!

    • Thank you. This was my forth time participating. Maybe you’ll decide to do it next year. I agree that you can make some great friends through the challenge. Take care.

  2. Congrats on completing the challenge! Your stats comparison is interesting in so far as linky/no linky goes. It was my first year completing so I have no comparison to make there. But I wonder if it has to do with being a more established blogger (either in the challenge – eg: knowing what you are doing there – or just generally?) as well? Always hard to tell with those things.

In any event – I was glad to have found you through the challenge and really enjoyed your posts!

    • I think there are a few things that contribute to the stats during the challenge. One is the theme. Another is if you have bloggers following you who are active in reading, liking and commenting on blogs. I’m so far behind on that part that I’ll be reading challenge posts throughout the summer : ) I enjoyed your blog posts and will be stopping by to read those I missed and comment on your reflection post soon. I too am glad that we connected and I enjoyed reading your posts as well. Do you think you will be participating next year? I hope you’ll consider it. Take care.
