G Is For ~Giraffe.org (Giraffe Heroes Project)

The mission of giraffe.org is to get people to take the risk of boldly acting or speaking out for the common good. And to give these individuals the tools to succeed.

The Giraffe Heroes Project, #StickYourNeckOut, was founded by Ann Medlock. Ms. Medlock felt that people who stuck their necks out should be recognized. She called these unknown heroes ‘giraffes” and brought their stories to the attention of the media. Her goal was to show the public that there were individuals that had the courage to make things happen.

Nominate A Giraffe- Do you know of someone who has stuck their neck out and should be recognized for their actions?

Donations help with workshops, trainings, OpEds, and books that teach about courageous and compassionate service. Also with materials that are created and distributed in schools (kindergarten through high school).
