Guitars4Vets is a non-profit organization that has been around since 2007. This non-profit offers free guitars and lessons to veterans suffering with any physical or emotional pain as a healing method. The program is run by volunteers and primarily through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Their Cyber Chapter Registration offers on-line lessons. They also take any used or broken guitars and transforms them into beautiful works of art with their Operation Art Strings program.
They accept cash donations as well as donations of musical equipment.
