Reading this question made me laugh. You can say that I am easily amused.
Humor is a main genetic characteristic that can be found in both sides of my family. Many could have become a stand up comic. I swear that most laughed instead of cried when the doctor smacked them on the butt after being born.
It’s one thing to like to laugh, but another to laugh at yourself. My mom was a firm believer in this self directed laughter. She felt it helped with feeling good about yourself. It helped with anxiety and worry. But mostly, it helped deal with adversity. I agree 100%
So what makes me laugh, you ask. Lots of things. But I have to say that laughing at myself has kept me entertained, usually on a daily basis, for years.
