I loved my Easy Bake Oven! When I got mine it was before a heating element was put in. Yes, I was one of those kids that got the original oven that used two 100 watt incandescent light bulbs. I’m really aging myself here, aren’t I.
I remember the little pans and how you had to push them through an opening to bake and then use an empty pan to push the baked goods out of the oven.
I remember being so excited that I had baked something!
It really boggles my mind as to why as a child I was so excited to receive such a toy. Fact is, as an adult, I never liked cooking or baking. If you ask my kids they will tell you that they grew up on Hamburger Helper.

I had an Easy Bake Oven, too! My progressive, feminist mother was horrified that I got it as a gift for Christmas one year from a relative.:-) Haha, I burned myself several times trying to figure out how the thing worked!
I remember burning myself as well. They have upgraded them. Hopefully it’s not so easy to do now.
