What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?

Questions for me to answer:

1. What inspires you to write?

My mother wrote beautiful poetry and short stories.  So I was introduced to writing at an early age. I believe I write as a way to express myself (although I haven’t done much of that lately). I also like the way writing offers a way to connect with people.

2. How many times a week do you post a blog?

Medical conditions often interfere with my daily activities, so I don’t write as much as I’d like to. Sometimes I get frustrated because I feel that when you write a blog you must be consistent. Often I feel I let my readers down when I don’t post.

3. How would you describe your blogging style?

My initial reason for my blog was to share personal things that have happened to me. But over time I’ve begun writing about many things such as Musical Monday, Facebook Friday and the Overseas Military Coupon Program.  I also enjoy participating in blogging challenges.

4. Have you ever thought about quitting blogging?

Oh yes! But it’s one of the things that I enjoy so it doesn’t take me long to realize that I’d be lost without blogging (and would miss my fellow bloggers and readers very much).

5. Where do you want to be five years from now?

I would LOVE to be living in Virginia (I now live in Massachusetts).  This is where all eleven of my grandchildren live.  I miss out on so much of their lives being so far away!  I have been working on making this happen!!!
