My Best Posts

I have always had a soft spot for human interest stories. These may not be my “best” posts if you go by stars, but they are some of the most important blog posts that I have written.  Some go back to when I began this blogging journey and I am taking this opportunity to highlight these posts as a way to bring them to the forefront.

The Heartbreak of Pediatric Cancer
Things Are Not So Bad After-all
Lethal Lottery – The Death Penalty
My Windows Of The Soul

Three Interesting Facts About Me

I once lived in a split level house. It was interesting because the woman who lived upstairs from me shared my birthday, July 22.  How many times does that happen?

I don’t know what it is about me, but no matter where I go I often get random people that start talking to me. I think it may be genetic, as it happens to a lot of the people in my family. We must possess that “You can talk to me” vibe.  : )

I believe that when my dad died he said good-bye to me.  I was sitting in a kitchen and all of a sudden this strong wind blew in what felt like a circle around where I was sitting. I was not the only one who felt it. There were no windows or doors open. About five minutes later I got a call that my dad had passed away.

My Nominations

I would love to nominate everyone that I feel deserves this award. But if I did that this blog post would end up like the song that never ends.

So I will randomly choose 5 blogs

The Voice Of Peace 18
Madi Grace
Sharonchy
Empowered Everyday
Mama In Grace

Thanks again to Esmé of The Recipe Hunter for taking the time to create this wonderful blog award and for nominating me as one of the first recipients.

  1. Once again, Cheryl, some interesting facts about you!
I love that your dad came to say farewell; and I don’t doubt that people strike up a conversation with you – I believe that would be very easy to do… 🙂
