I know a blog a day won’t keep the doctor away, like an apple might. However, blogs help us in a multitude of other ways. A blog can teach us how to do an algebra problem, find information on a medical condition, learn about a new culture, or find a great recipe. With over 150 million blogs and a new one being created every half second, you can bet there is a blog for everything and everyone.
A Blog A Day offers readers a month of random (and totally awesome blogs) that they can check out each day. If a blog is of interest please consider following it.

You have found many good blogs here, Cheryl 🙂
Thank you Irene.
What a wonderful list. Thank you for sharing it. I think I found some to follow.
I am glad that you may have found some blogs you are interested in : )
Oh yes, I love the ones about medical information and ones with crochet and art.
It’s great to be able to find so much medical information without having to leave your house. I have been thinking of taking some crochet or knitting classes. It’s amazing some of the things I have seen created on blogs.
You can look up how-to’s on youtube, if you can learn that way. I hate youtube videos myself, but a lot of people learn how to do things from them.
I am more a visual learner so YouTube is my go-to place for just about everything. Thank you for the suggestion : )
What a great idea and thank you for making my blog one of your stops!!
Happy Tuesday Cheryl!!
You are welcome. I like reading your book reviews.
Excellent range of blogs. I already follow some of those and will have a look at some of the rest.
Maybe you’ll find another blog or two to follow : )
What a great idea! I’ll check these out. It looks like you have done a great job here on your own blog. You must be from SF. I live in the Central Valley, where we don’t have to monitor the traffic! 🙂 I was in your neck of the woods a couple of weeks ago at a Travel Show.
Thank you. As I have mentioned before, I like helping fellow bloggers out. What makes you think I live in California? I’ve always wanted to visit but I live on the other side of the country, in Massachusetts : )
I don’t know, did I say that? Who knows?
MA is beautiful, but you should come visit. It’s like two different worlds. I had a great time there about three years ago. We had a national social studies conference there, and I was on the planning committee. If you ever get a chance to come this way, let me know. I’ll gladly show you some of our sites. 🙂 We live 40 minutes from the big trees – the Giant Sequoias National Park. 🙂 Sorry I said you were in CA. I’ll check to make sure I don’t say that on my post tomorrow. You’re first on the list on my links tomorrow. I will have a hard time doing that every month. Do you do it EVERY month! 🙂 Wow! I don’t think I visit 31 new sights every month. However, if I follow yours around, I guess I could! 🙂
My daughter lived in Riverside, California when her husband was stationed there. She always says that she liked living in California more than any other state, even Massachusetts where she was born and raised. I think June 2015 is the first month that I posted A Blog A Day. I’ve done it every month since then. I always try to make time to visit the blogs of those who follow me and look for new ones. I’m sure I visit over 31 blogs a month. I should keep track because now you have me curious : )
I’m impressed that you visit so many New blogs. Do you go back to the same ones the next month or are they new every month? Riverside is a lovely place. It has a beautiful historic mission style hotel. We had a state Mock Trial Competition and a State History Day Competition there. I live about five hours north and west of there in the Central Valley. The nearest famous landmark to me is the Sequoia National Park which is about 40 minutes east of us. 🙂
My daughter wanted me to visit when she was there. I wish I had. She is now in Virginia. I try to check out a few blogs (or more if I have time) every day. I pick different blogs to add to A Blog A Day every month.
How do you keep track of them all? I have a journal form that I use in Google Docs that works really well for me. I’ve tried all sorts of things. As we both have noticed, just going by our list on our blogs doesn’t help because they are not all still blogging. I love Virginia. Did you ever get to Colonial Williamsburg?
For my A Blog A Day I get the blogs from my list of followers. I always check to make sure they are active first. No, never have been to Colonial Williamsburg. I’d like to go one day though.
I went to a week long teacher’s training there. It was so interesting and fun that my husband and I went back a couple of years later. It’s worth visiting. 🙂
Such a great idea! It is just what I need today as I set out exploring the wordpress for the blogs i might enjoy reading. Thank you!
I hope you find a blog or two that you will enjoy following : )
Thank you, I have already found a couple of interesting blogs 😉 hope, you will continue with your lists!
I’ve been posting A Blog A Day for over a year now and won’t be stopping any time soon. I am glad that you found some of interest to you.
