It’s almost that time again….What time you may be asking yourself….Almost time for the April Blogging from A to Z Challenge!!!
This year I have decided to post about Facebook Support Groups. I know I am supposed to wait for the Theme Reveal but I need your help! If you run a Facebook Support Group or are a member of one and would like it highlighted in the A-to-Z Challenge please let me know by either emailing me at pluckingofmyheartstrings@gmail.com or leaving a comment below with the URL of the group.
Since I can only use one group for each letter of the alphabet this will be on a first come first serve basis. I already have groups for the following letters….L, M, T. Now there is always a possibility that these groups will opt out so please leave your group just in case.
This will be my forth year participating in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. If you are interested here are the links to condensed versions of my blog posts from prior years:
2015 ~ Non-Profit Charities/Organizations
2016 ~ Non-Profit Charities/Organizations
I really love the concept of support groups and am looking forward to posting this important information.
Thanks for your help….
I think I may participate in the challenge! Sounds like fun.
Have you ever participated before, Katrina? It’s my favorite challenge.
No, I haven’t. This would be my first time.
Let me know if you participate and I will follow you….This is my favorite blogging challenge : )
Will do!
You make me want to start a support group just so I can participate in this terrific idea!

Thank you for getting back to me.
I don’t know anything about them. Looking forward to learning. I think you are wise to start this early.
I did read that the concept for A to Z is going to be different this year. I have to start thinking about it.
I guess there will not be any sign up list this year. Some people are worried about that. My plan is to get my A to Z posts done early. That will give me more time to read, like and comment on participating blogs. Other years I had all I could do to keep up with my posts and very little to interact with fellow bloggers.
Last year I did it for two blogs. I am not doing that again. I am glad you are getting a head start.
Last year I signed up with two blogs also, but before the challenge started I had them take the second blog off. I am glad I did. I could barely keep up with one. I give you a lot of credit for doing two….one is a lot of work!
I had most outlined beforehand. Have you seen anything regarding its rollout?
Outlining was good thinking! I have read a lot of people are worried about not having a list. I think there was something posted on the A-Z Facebook group this morning but I was in a hurry and didn’t get a chance to read it.
Reblogged this on A Journey To Courageous Living and commented:
Our lovely Cheryl has a great plan for April and you are invited.
Thank you SO much for the reblog. It’s appreciated.
I love the idea so of course I thought I’d share it 😊
Thank you again : )
A friend of ours started a Facebook page while her son was battling Vanishing White Matter Disease. Here is her page link: https://www.facebook.com/FightliketheChamp/posts/821670967934436 Isaiah lost his battle last Fall but his mother Bethany is still active in helping research with a 5K walk each year. There is a support group affiliated with this disease. I’m sure it’ll be on her page. Hope this helps 😊
Thank you for sending me the link. Unfortunately I already have all the Facebook groups I need. I did check out the page and I will keep it in my favorites in case I decided to write about Facebook groups/pages in the future. I don’t know how anyone can deal with the loss of a child. It’s so heartbreaking!
It is horrible. We’ve lost 3 children in our lives in the last year all totally unknown to each other. Devastating
Oh my, three! Sorry to hear of your losses. It surely is devastating!
