I really enjoyed volunteering. It always gave me a sense of purpose and I felt good doing something for a community.

I volunteered a lot, Head Start, class field trips, school library, school cafeteria, Parent Aide (helped parents in need), and at a Navy clothing bank when I was a Navy wife and living in Navy housing.

There are plenty more situations that I volunteered for. Almost every time someone was looking for a volunteer, and I could do it, my hand went up.

Those were some of my best times!
