Robin Gibb
December 22, 1949 – May 20, 2012
Robin Gibb was best known as a member of the successful group, the Bee Gees. This family trio consisted of Barry, Robin and Maurice, with Robin and Maurice being fraternal twins.
During the late 70’s the Bee Gees were one of the top acts in the world. Their number 1 hits include, Jive Talking, Night Fever, and Staying Alive, with their biggest hit being, How Deep Is Your Love.
Gibb played piano, organ and mellotron, along with acoustic guitar. His vibrato voice is one that is very distinctive.
Gibb left the group for a brief time in 1969, starting out on a solo journey. Although he did well and his hit, Saved By The Bell, received a gold disc, he never gained the success that the Bee Gees had.
In 1994, Gibb was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame. He was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Bee Gees.
Gibb died in 2012 due to colorectal cancer. He was 62.

Some of the things I found out by googling, I never knew myself. Always loved the Bee Gees.
I love the BeeGees and at a tribute concert I was amused to find the aisles filled with white haired oldies dancing to their music !
Those white haired oldies are my peeps….LOL Bee Gees have always been a favorite of mine and I’d be dancing to their music even if I had hip replacements…lol. Take care.
