Dear Readers,
If you read my post, A to Z Challenge Theme Review 2018, you know that I had written about possibly not being able to participate in the challenge this year. After an ER visit it was found that my son-in-law had a tumor on his spinal cord and I would be leaving the state (Massachusetts) and heading to Virginia.
I am home now and thought I would post an update.
The tumor that my son-in-law had removed was cancerous. It’s a very rare cancer known as sclerosing epitheloid fibrosarcoma. He was supposed to have radiation but other tumors have now been found. One is on the front lobe of his brain. The doctors don’t think the brain tumor is the same kind of cancer that was found on his spinal cord. And until a biopsy is done, they are not sure if it is cancer. He will be having the biopsy after he meets with the neurologist, which is next week. Then the doctors will figure out a plan of attack!
Dustin is 39 and has been in the Navy for over 20 years. He and my daughter have 6 children. Please keep the family in your prayers.
While I was in Virginia my cat died. I am so heartbroken over this!
I had to return to Massachusetts because my medical insurance doesn’t cover me outside the state and I am under the care of a few doctors. As soon as I see them all and get testing and procedures out of the way, I will be heading back down to Virginia for a while. Thinking about possibly moving there.
As for blogging, I really don’t have the desire or the time to do it right now. But I will be around to read blog posts, like and comment. I haven’t given up blogging for good and I will be back!
Thank you to all who donated coupons while I was away. I have been busy sorting them and getting them ready to mail out. I will not be accepting any more coupons until further notice.
