Yeah, this post really should say, “Running Behind” because that’s all I’ve done since the beginning of this challenge…lol. But I haven’t given up!
You’ve probably looked at the subject of this blog post and wondered, “What is this about? Rubber Gloves? But this an About Me theme, so here goes.
For some reason I have always been afraid to plug things in. I don’t remember ever being electrocuted, but have this real phobia of household electricity. I remember asking my kids, when they got older, to plug things in for me. They never questioned me until my daughter was around 12. When she asked me why I wouldn’t plug the lamp in, I told her I didn’t want to get electrocuted. Her response was, “So you want me to plug it in? What a good mom.” You’ve got to love pre-teens!
When my youngest son moved out over a year ago, I didn’t know what I was going to do now. Lightbulb moment – Buy a pair of Electrical Insulated Lineman Rubber Gloves. Problem solved!
