Today’s Facebook Friday interview is with Trisha who created the inspirational page, Embracing Life . 

Welcome Trisha. Please tell the readers a little about yourself.

As my boys grew up and started having their own families, I traded my mothering/nurturing needs to a houseful of cats instead of children. When the kittens aren’t ‘helping’ me write, I work on my books and short stories – mostly about people and items from the past.

What inspired you to create this page?

After a Sudden Cardiac Arrest in 2010, which luckily for me happened within feet of three medical doctors on a plane, I started looking at the gift of my new days in a different way. Instead of getting wrapped up in the hectic spiral of life and a never-ending to-do list, I’m trying to live a more authentic life with more gratitude and a more positive attitude. I started this Facebook page, Embracing Life, to connect with other people that aspire to embrace life and every new day we are blessed with.

What would you like this page to accomplish?

I would like the Embracing Life Facebook page be a place where we can connect with one another, inspire and motive each other to wring the best out of life, and be thankful for each day. I believe that what we appreciate and give our attention to multiplies in our lives. I also recognize that as good as my intentions are, there are still days that I fall short of the attitude I’d like to exhibit. Some days I am the positive one uplifting my friends and loved ones. On other days, they are the ones that encourage me. By standing together with others, we can all have a life filled with zest, gratitude, and joy.
