Motor Club of America – Roadside Service/Work At Home – Follow My Journey…..Signing Up #MCA

MCA_Logo_WBG smallAt the beginning of December I came across a Facebook post asking if anyone was interested in a work at home job that paid great! Since I cannot work outside the home and had been actually submitting resumes to work at home companies, this message really caught my eye!

After being sent a link to check out the company I found that it was a motor club offering emergency road side assistance and a LOT more.  It also offers work at home jobs for those who would like to promote the business.

Being a bit skeptical (as you should be when dealing with online businesses) I decided to check out this company before deciding to work for them.

I found that the President of Motor Club of America has a professional profile at LinkedIn.

I checked with the Better Business Bureau and found that the company has an A+ rating.

I googled Motor Club of America and found many positive reviews.

I also checked youtube and found multitudes of great reviews for this company.

I did come across some bad reviews but the good reviews outweighed the bad considerably!

So I have decided to give it a try……

I became an Independent Associate on December 6, 2017. My opinion of this company is that I believe this to be a legitimate business. I am pleased with the benefits they offer and their work at home opportunity, so far. And their customer service has been exceptional!

The price for a motor club membership is $9.95, $14.95 or $19.95. You do not have to buy a membership to become an Independent Associate BUT the company believes that you should. And I absolutely agree!  A potential buyer may become wary if you are only selling the memberships but not interested in obtaining one for yourself. It would also give you personal experience that you can share with a potential buyer. PLUS you’ll be getting many great benefits!

I decided to sign up online for the Total Security membership.  Within 5 minutes I received a call from Motor Club of America, verifying my account and letting me know I will get my membership package in the mail within 7-10 days.  I also found in my email a WELCOME letter and what my member benefits would be.  Here is what they offer…

Emergency Road Service
Emergency Towing Service
Emergency Travel and Living Expenses
Lawyer Service for Moving Violations
Lawyer Service for Auto Manslaughter and Auto Assault and Battery
Lawyer Service for Auto Related Personal Injury
Lawyer Service for Vehicle Damage Matters
$500 Arrest Bond Certificate
$25,000 Bail Bond Service for Criminal Charges Arising from an Auto Accident
$5,000 Stolen Vehicle Reward
$500 Stolen Farm and Ranch Equipment Reward
Touring and Travel Service
Free WellCard Health – Enroll in the Free WellCard Health Program.  (This is a discount plan, not insurance. It covers all family members under the age of 26. The website states that average savings for drug prices is 65% and up to 30% off on medical visits. It also covers dental. I am very interested in this benefit)
Membership Card
Key Medallion Lost Key Return Program
Auto Decal
Discounts on Hotel/Motel and Car Rental
Credit Card Protection
Personal Accident Emergency Room Benefit
Personal Accident Hospital Stay Benefit
Personal Accidental Death / Dismemberment Benefit
Additional Accidental Death / Dismemberment
Worldwide Travel Assistance Program

To be honest, when I first saw the price for the Total Security membership I thought it was a bit more than I would want to pay for a road side assistance program.  It’s $39.90 to sign up (which is your first and last payment). Then $19.95 a month.  That’s $239.40 yearly.  But then when I saw all the benefits there are and breaking it down to $5 a week,  it seemed reasonable.

ALSO, although you do not have to pay for a membership to become an Independent Associate, if you sign up for the Total Security membership you will get access to a Facebook training and support group, which I have found to be extremely helpful to me.  All you have to do is pay the $39.90 and this excellent marketing tool is at your fingertips.

Independent Associates can make up to $80 a sale. Motor Club of America pays every Friday by direct deposit only.

If after reading this post you are interested but still on the fence about this company please follow my blog as I will be posting about my Motor Club of America journey. Hopefully it will help you make a decision.
