Overseas Military Coupon Program ~ June 2017 #ExpiredCoupons

THANK YOU SO MUCH to those who donated their unused/expired coupons to be mailed overseas to our adopted military base in Yokosuka, Japan.  The total that was sent on June 27, 2017 totaled $5,425.15.  It always amazes me how these bits of paper can add up to so much!

I received an email from Linda of Maxi Saver Group ( a group that distributes coupons to US military commissaries worldwide. They also hand distribute coupons to the commissaries overseas) who thanked me for bringing awareness of how military families overseas are able to use expired coupons. So please know that your donated coupons are not going unnoticed or unappreciated.

  1. I sent an envelope to you last week. You should have gotten it, or you should get it soon. I don’t get enough coupons myself so I asked my students to help me!

  2. We are gathering more. I will just keep sending them as long as my students keep clipping them for me. I have one student that must get several newspapers because she brings me a baggie FULL of coupons. The rest of us just have some here and there. 🙂
